Erosion-Control Blankets
Erosion due to wind or water reduces the soil's ability to support plants, regulate rainwater, and maintain biodiversity. Curlex NetFree erosion-control blankets protect the soil and encourage healthy plant growth using interlocking curled Great Lakes Aspen excelsior wood fibers. These blankets are 100% biodegradable (even the stitching), are free from weed seeds and added chemicals, andunlike some plastic productswill not get animals and mowing equipment entangled in them.

Irrigation Controls
Cyber Rain was the first "smart" irrigation controller to get WaterSense certification for its low water consumption. Similar to a thermostat for irrigation, it determines just the right amount of water required for irrigation based on data that includes local weather, plant type, sprinkler type, soil, slope, and sun exposure. It is linked to computer software via the Internet and can be accessed remotely for real-time adjustments; flow meters can even be attached to detect breaks in the system.

Used on shallow slopes, Anti-Wash/Geojute holds four times its weight in water, according to the company, and plants easily grow through its open weave.
